Deko is an italian songwriter and musician living in Berlin. His music is acoustic: he plays a romantic traditional folk, but with imposing doses of grit and emotional strength. For his show at Tetris Club I made an typographic impactful poster that plays with four bold 3D-effect letters standing in the foreground, floating above the acoustic guitars. The pretty massive letter shapes represent the artistic ardor of the songwriter, the calm background elements — in an other way — represent the intimity and the sweetness typical of folk music. The colors and the mood of the poster reminds of the Berlin underground culture atmospheres, while some white condensed lettering enrich the design as decorative elements but also as informative notes (indicating the date of the concert, the address, etc).
