Death metal dressed in pop art clothes. Violence under the sun. Skulls and polite use of characters. Can it work? I made that experiment for the Grave Lead (speed thrash metal band from Trieste, Italy) and Damned Pilots (horror stoner doom combo also from Trieste, Italy) double feature concert at Tetris club. Brutal iconography and vivid colors. Hans Baldung Grien working in a graphic design studio with Wolfgang Weingart. Unusual wave of death metal typography. Those were the inputs for the creation of this piece of paper.
